    Talking Play with 975X + 7300GT SLI

    Hello

    In wednesday and thursday I play with two Galaxy GeForce 7300GT DDR3 500/700 stock. Card is very OC without mod's - 550/750

    So my friend Matiz search for vgpu and send me pencil trick for this card. Ok, vgpu in card and 605/810MHz only But I am insistent and push this combo with MSI Platinum PowerUP & E6600 (chiller cooled ) & Geil Value 667MHz clocked 410x9, mem 1:1 4-3-3-6@2.4.

    Ok time for scores and photos

    And scores :

    01 - 53881 point's --> http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k1=9042310

    03 - 25915 point's --> http://service.futuremark.com/compare?2k3=4948633

    05 - 10921 point's --> http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm05=2200412

    06 - 5656 --> http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm06=479783

    I got : 1 place in 03 & 06, 2nd place in 01 and only 6 place in 05

    I salute from Poland

    Nice scores.
    That reminds me to publish some of my scores
    Are you only running 410*9?
    Your scores are quite high compared to my scores.
    Guess I need a fresh OS install and a second stick of ram.

    Very nice work .. are you going to run FM approved drivers as well or are those particularily fast? You are actually 4th in 05 because TheStilt has 3 scores at the top

    Fr3ak, yes you definitely do need that extra RAM stick, how come you only have one ?

    I am 12th I think in 2001 ... should improve tonight though. I'm getting 375fps in nature on the stock cards which is not too shabby.

    Regards

    I won that one stick here at XS, but unfortunately a single HZ stick is not available in Europe, so I would have to order one from the US. Will do that sooner or later. Dont have the money for it right now. I wouldnt have bought 7300GTs if I had lol
    Nice to see that my watercooled Ho aint that bad

    Devil K-ce, what voltage are you running the cards at?
    Have you tried using Nibitor to modify the delta? I guess you can clock it a lot higher with a delta of -100 instead of 0.

    Fr3ak : yes only 410x9 - MSI 975X have FSB wall at more of 410MHz
    Voltage is stock + pencil mod, and I no modify bios of card's.

    zakelwe : FM approved drivers for Intel SLI ?

    Somebody pointed that out to me after I wrote it as well .. I've only tested a single 6600GT up to now though so it was not obvious to me at the time

    Use Nibitor to modify the delta.
    I was able to bench at 700/795 with a -100 delta where 595/795 was the max with stock bios and a delta of 0.

    Wow, the results with the modded delta are impressive to say at least.

    I will try it with one card tomorrow as well. If it dies I am getting a DDR3 7600GS and run it with the 7300GT in mixed SLi
    But be careful with the ram. I dont think I will be running it with more than 2.1V. Maybe 2.05V, because according to specs its supposed to run at 1.8V and Palit already overvolted it ^^
    I was gonna get Zalman fans for the cards, but the Palit stock cooler seems to do a nice job. I have between 50 and 60C when running 700/777 without an additional fan blowing at the cards
    Those little monsters are the best bang for the buck cards I have ever owned. And also the ones with the highest OC. Ususally I have always bad luck with the ram on the cards. My 7800GT only liked a 100mhz OC,my 9500 was unstable with 2mhz more than stock lmao.
    Will be fun benching the cards again. Maybe we someone of us can make it into the 60s in 01.

    1) Mem can take up to 2.5v (says the datasheet)

    2) The cards are really chill . Mine don't go above 53°C when running at 600/800.

    3) Once again, the -100 delta is really good for those cards: 700MHz. on stock cooling is nice.

    4) A friend of mine got his E6600 and will recieve a X6800 soon. You can already guess what we'll be doing within a few weeks

    Are you sure about the ram? I think I have found 2.1V max for AFLxx. AFxx can take more, because its default voltage is 2V and AFL's is 1.8V.
    So we will have 3 Conroe/7300GT combos. Will be fun

    Is the MSI board good? It seems to be the cheapest 975 board in the UK...

    By the way, I just modded my cards. The chips suggested in the XS-thread are correct. Now I'm at 1.2v and 2.05v; too bad I don't have any cpu lying around to play with. This week a venice 3000+ should arrive here.

    Could be close for sli wr. My best single card score is a little higher than yours.
    And Stilt has 7400 with a single card.

    These DDR3 7300 GTs look pretty good. Too bad I couldn't find them in the US back when I was looking a few months ago.

    Does anyone know if they (DDR3 version) are available in the US yet?
