Great post Stilt, righr when I was about to buy the Gigacrap board and start the bios saga again, as Gigabyte does it always with their crappy engineeers.
I will definitely go for the Biostar board.

Lower the resistance to raise the voltage.
The DDR2 voltage reading in bios is way off, so use multimeter to measure the actual voltage.

At first it may seem that the voltage is raising quite slow when lowering the resistance. However at 2.3V+ the voltage is raising VERY fast so lower the resistance VERY slowly. The memory voltage can be measured from the coil nearest to the ram slots.

I thought Hipro said its compatible with both, otherwise it would'nt be worth it for him to develop such a product thats only works with dead-end ddr.

That board looks good. I was always more than happy with the Biostar boards I owned so far
Would be interesting to see how it compares speedwise to a DS3 or P5W. High FSB aint everything..

If biostar can change bios to do 530fsb, than maybe asus can do sommethink similar. ~500 pn P5W DH would be gr8. I`m talking without moding.
    Nice job The Stilt.

    This is randomly picked ?
