Uaaaa, 4 cores disabled for my 32M record :-)

Thanks to Chew* and Infra for advice. Whau, really helped me a bit. I got higher CPU clock (think +30-50 MHz than with all active cores) and I was shocked from CPU/NB! I set "only" 1.4V for CPU/NB and my system booted to windows with 3400 MHz CPU/NB.
Step by step I got up to...Look, no more talking

    And quick superpi 1M

Flank3r - 1800 7-8-7 isn't bad, you should try 7-9-7 or 7-10-7 with those sticks, I think you will get further and find out they are not as bad as you think

    I think I can pull off 3350 NB for 1M, maybe 3300 for 32M on 2 cores

    Very Nice FlanK3r!

I may have to play with this idea myself...

Just curious, why didn't you just figure out which is your strongest core and run it on just that one?
Wouldn't all that core swapping actually hamper SPi scores anyway...
It's not really a multithreaded bench.

Generaly I made runs with all 6 active cores and with the best at the highest clock (example core0) and set affinity for this core to superpi. But this is bit better, CPU core can go a bit higher and CPU/NB think too. I thinking, all my CPUs has the best core0 and than second other (sometimes core 1, sometimes core 5).

Why spend money on some RAM-sticks to get a better calculation time if there`s so much time left due to the lack of software tweaking?

Hehe, that's sig-worthy in my book.
Anyway great hardware-power FlanK3r, even with singlestage cooling it's actually not easy to reach these frequencies ...

Well yea,he should consider having installed Windows XP too for 2d benches. That would strip 10 seconds at least. And with some good ram,14M 30 would be achievable.
