    Mayhems Chameleon

Well this is a project ive been working on some time and is now officially called Mayhems Chameleon.

In some sense its still in its early testing stages and very much like aurora is a fluid based on mainly looks.

This is a Thermal reactive coolant that will change colour depending on temps in the water cooling system.

    Some pics below

First samples will be hitting testers soon.

A early pre-View vid was posted on YT here

Before comments about boiling water appear below the water was only 40c and the liquid being tested changed colour at 28 to 31c how ever the ambient temp was 5c at the time. Hence we got steam ... The new version of the liquids the temp change is different and we can do many different colours.

This is a nano fluid based on 4 different technology's all combined into 1.

    Boiling point 100c
Viscosity - haha you'll be surprised
How long will it last - we have not got a clue as of yet but its doing pretty well
UV active - No , never will be and cannot be used with UV leds.
ETA - give me a brake
Cost - Aint got a bloody clue
    Am i mad - yes
Can i have some for testing - No not yet ...!!!!
Does it contain inhibitors - yes
Does it contain biocide - Yes
Does it contain Glycol - No
Will it clog a block - we do not know as of yet this is being tested
Will it work in a impingement block - we do not as of yet

Wow! That's special. I could see blue liquid turning red at a predetermined temperature.

So is that a good surprise on viscosity or is it as thick as a good milkshake?

So, we spend years figuring out that putting extraneous stuff into our loops is a bad idea and now you release new "gunk" almost every month?

I sorta liked what you were doing with your dyes, testing them extensively to show/prove that they rarely separate/clog the system, but everything after that

Its for bling and show rigs, what's the problem? Daresay its within 3 to 5c of Ultra Pure anyway. My mrs will love that colour changing pink, do you think she cares if it runs a bit warmer?

Id be shocked if its marketed as a performance product anyway.

@schoolslave - None of our products gunk unless you do not know what you are doing. All the products we do are tested more than ever with reliable and trusted testers and our own testing equipment have moved up quite a few notches. I just don't have the time to publish every test we do, put up all the figures, Do comparisons, and general type bull to keep people interested.

All our products have the correct information for them to use the products and we don't mess around and let every one know what is good for what and what is not. In fact when it comes to honesty i should have a halo over my head.

Our support all so is priority and on the ball now a days (some times we still get it wrong though). Things have changed a lot with mayhems and with the immanent release of new rads and bench tables (but not as you know it) i think personally were doing pretty dammed well.

In fact i think Mayhems have given some thing to the community that has been missing in a long time and we have opened the market up even further and I personally intend on making sure it carries on. If you do not like what we do thats your own problem not mine because i can give you 25,000+ reasons why you might be wrong.

Considering that's basically just Ice Dragon with a new dye, I'd say most of the comments here are moot. Mick does know what he's doing. I've had some long and rather interesting conversations with him, and he's no dope. If he figured out how to suspend glitter in a loop and keep it from damaging a pump, this should be no problem.

Tell me something, what's your objective with this ? I've seen what the liquid it self can do but, your objective is:

    1) Have a WC that has one color when the PC is shutdown and another one when it is running.

    2) Have a liquid that will change color while the PC is running aka, parts of the loop purple parts of it blue ( for exemple )

    3) None of the above, if so what's the objective ?

I don't want you to enter in to details, but if you are going for option 2) do you think that the liquid will be able to change color with .5 // 1ºC temp differences ? Because that's gonna be what most loops will have. Btw I'll understand if you don't answer this, will the liquid have a linear behaviour or more like a hysteresis one ?

The liquid will be realised on a sliding scale. Meaning you choose what temp it will start to change at. So if you what to change from tuning off and on or if it changes when on and the systems heats up say playing a game.

    e.g

    25c to 27c
    27c to 30c
    30c to 33c
    33c to 36c

The colour change is 99% accurate

Yes B-Neg is one of my testers for our products. He the best sort of tester you can have "brutal and to the point" .... I trust if there is a problem he wont hold back same as my other testers.
