    Great news Lord Trident
I have passed the good news onto the nVidia forums.
Do you have an ETA for the Foxconn X38A BIOS which fixes this issue?
Thanks for supporting those still on the LGA-775 platform

BTW Saaya your signature rocks the socks off

    Yep

I also liked the video about the Copywright infringement....
Such a shame that Don't Be Evil are actually bowing down to the Evil powers that be....

Anyword on the Foxconn X38A BIOS yet? A few people on the nVidia forums are waiting on this....

    Thanks

    Hi Lord Trident
Sorry to bother you again. Do you know the exact nature of the fix Foxconn implemented into the BIOS to resolve the PCI-E gen 2.0 bug?
Was this by any chance a Power Management Bug effecting the Adaptive Link Modulation of the PCI-E slot?

Gigabyte will be rolling out BIOS fixes for their boards within the next few days, however ASUS are still playing "It is not our responsibility to fix this " card on this issue. Perhaps a bit of light shed on the bug in question may gracefully encourage them to apply a fix for all ASUS end users effected by this bug.

    Thanks

    John

does this bios make the ram straps work ?

i wasited 17min's of my life trying to get the blackops to work with the p06 bios

    1:1 = c1
    1:2 = c1
    1:2.4 = c1
    1:2.665 = c1
    1:3 = c1
    1:3.2 = c1
    1:4 200 = c1
    1:4 266 = c1
    1:4 333 = c1
    1:4 400 = c1
auto = working but ram at 400mhz os speed

all straps apart from auto dont work and give C1 at post
auto works but the ram speed is far to slow at 400mhz

ive got it all on vid of every strap test with some harsh swear words in there also
will put it up on the tube once edited

    edit:
    cpu is a e4300(SL9TB) @4ghz
ram is patriot vipers d9gtr @ 2.1v 7-6-5-15 (as tested and working up to 900+mhz on the x48 asus rampage extreme)

sounds like a bad spd or the spd doesnt work well with BO...
try to flash them to an spd that is known to work on BO, check the compatibility list in the tweaks n guides section
