Gigabyte EP45-UD3P Squealing Noise

Anyone else notice a high pitched squealing sound coming from someplace around the CPU socket when the system is under load? My system is very quiet (water cooled with low-rpm fans) so it becomes very noticeable. With the case open, just try to put your ear over the CPU socket while starting and stopping Prime95 or IntelBurnTest. I'm using a Q9550 @ 4Ghz but noticed this noise even running stock speed and voltages.

Just wondering if all EP45-UD3P boards are affected or only a few. I still have time to exchange this board if this is a rare problem.

Corsair HX520. MSI 8600GTS. Video card is fanless thus making it easier to hear the noise. It's not coming from the video card as I already tried swapping it for an old PCI based card and still hear the noise. Noise starts and stops when you start and stop Prime95 so it seems pretty clear that it's linked to CPU usage. It's sort of a hissing noise that wasn't present on my previous motherboard (Abit IP35).

i had a ud3r and i never heard it squeal.but who knows i had a lot of fans blowing

did you upgrade your vid drivers lately?

I was getting this while playing Far Cry 2... sounded like it was coming from the socket area, but i used some tygon tubing (one end to ear, moved other end around socket area to isolate the noise) and found it was actually my PSU.
But the same components on my P35 pro didn't do this.
