Surface Deformer is a small OpenGL benchmark that stresses the vertex processing unit (vertex pipelines). A mesh plane made of 2 millions of triangular polygons and 1 million of vertices is deformed in realtime by a GLSL vertex shader. The benchmark uses a GL 2.0 codepath for the realtime shaders and stores the whole mesh in a VBO in order to limit the CPU-GPU transfert effect. The performance measure lasts 1 minute, the o3Mark score is the number of frames that have been displayed during the benchmark. Surface Deformer also includes a stability test mode, which is useful to test your graphics card during your overcloking sessions.

the new driver loves this benchmark.... when your benching i bet your getting a smooth 175-185. thats what i was getting before the new driver. now its 270-280fps max.....

exal, how are you able to change the clocks in atitool..... it wont budge when i try.... it should be a 1 hours worth of play but i've been trying to get a decent bench for hours. this and vista jebus save me....

umm it's easy, you just move the sliders :O idk it just worked perfectly for me on vista 64 bits last time i tried

edit: erm you have like a 8pin connected to the card right? or else just use a paperclip to short the last 2 holes then you can enable overdrive which lets you move the sliders

edit2: you can kinda bug it and trick it by downloading rivetuner and press enable OC and then restart and then you can use atitool to overclock and just remove rivatuner again

i managed to get the clocks up..... but it wasnt easy. i've used every version of atitool and this one needed you to have a profile already saved for you to take advantage of the tool easily on my machine.... too warm for my cards atm so i wont be beating your score tonight....
