Cool so we didn't get the VRMs you expected it to be or the misinformation you got from that Gigabyte Specialist at Newegg blew things out of proportions. I've worked with this board from day one for Haswell pretesting and it was stable & performing. The Z87X OC performed admirably well, efficient for daily usage and even no hickups under extreme cold

Now I would only judge component choice, not on paper but how it all functions in reality... Haven't we al seen impressive phase specs in the past, yet they added nothing to the boards instead of E-peen and bragging rights...

You made your point you are unhappy with the component choice of the engineers. Is it possible to get back on track and see results on this board plz... this could be a long, endless and pretty pointless discussion in my book... adding no real value to the thread as most of us were aware of the component choice, tested it and loved it
Question : Why do some overclockers switch into d*ckmode when money is involved

Remark : They call me Pro Asus Saaya yupp, I agree

Just got this board yesterday. Great looking board, will see how it performs today along with my 4770k. Is X04 the best performing, issue free bios to use?

Heh you sound like me and CFR on the Asrock board. I'd say forget the profiles and just set your primary timings on the OC boards, the profiles don't really work well in my experience.

This^^ don't set profiles, just set the divider and your main timings, you can then tweak up your timings from what the board sets. Or just use the timings from when it went higher.

It's not a new pitch. Same message I have shared at a number of online computer enthusiast hangouts that I have hanged out over the years.

Blame Gigabyte marketing for my valid complaint. IMO you should not worry about it. Just do your thing as an over clocker and have fun with your hardware. People that have valid complaints should be taken into consideration for improvement of the situation.

i did some quick runs with a new ADTA 2800C12 kit i got my hands on:

    single stick 3580mhz on air:
    http://valid.canardpc.com/vestbn

    4 sticks 3334mhz on air
    http://valid.canardpc.com/dqwemh

I had to use BIOS B03 for this and just set CL13 and T2 and then put 1.85v in. More results will be posted soon.
