RUSSIA: Done.

Nailed them. Well done everyone, past and present.

A special thanks to Helheim since he did most of the work this past while back. I'm back in town again for a couple of weeks hopefully myself.

Thanks also to Skycrane who did alot until recently, and also to Dak's 200 million.

And of course everyone else on the team, big and small who made this day possible.

I am very happy. I've waited 2 years for this.

Are you sick and tired of your folding rigs getting EUE's ? are you upset that the new WU only give 3500ppd for that 9600GSO ?? are you even more ticked that the 9800gx2 gives you less than half the points you were getting before ??
then ive GOT the solution, leave your high shader cards for folding, and take that older hardware, and come join me and few others
this is for " the mad cow "

or you can run GPUgrid

and for everyone running ATI mikyway@home is the place for you

Sorry for my ignorance. What does this mean exactly? All I know about Dimes is you run some kind of client on your computer to help map the internet (or something along those lines). Does this mean Russia is done or something?

We overtook their team a few days ago in points. After they originally overtook US about two years ago. Two years ago we were the No.1 team overall. Now we're second just behind Ukraine. We aim to nail them aswell.

yea like riptide said, we are just trying to get our #1 spot back. it looks like it should be ours again by the new year and yes, thats what the client does, just maps the net from your comp. its a small little program that works well in VMs so i hope to see you producing soon..

I've read some stuff on this forums about it. I'm just scared to run it since I have latency issues caused by some magical force. I wouldn't want to upset this magical force and be unable to play counter strike: source.

Congratz on overtaking Russia.

I just played some CS:S while running DIMES and it made no difference (no lag at all).

Dimes does a mesurament 4 times a min, so you might be looking at maybe 15kb/min????

Yea, because you don't have any magical force in your interwebz.

You could just try it with Dimes on and play some CSS. If there's lagg then you can just turn Dimes off when you want to play.
