I'll get one more 260-216 online in a few. It needs a driver update. It's my main rig, so the garbage I've been seeing on the farm with the newer drivers better play nice here..... No KVM so I should be OK.

Funny, OldChap, I was gonna make a crack about Canadian Thanksgiving already being passed but didn't have time.
Thanksgiving in the states is Thursday the 26th of November this year.

And I hope to get a GTX of some sort online soon ! Just looking for a hot enough deal...

I've been struggling with my 295 ... I think my Corsair 750 TX may be a little underpowered for the 295 full bore plus a healthy OC (4.3 GHz @ 1.325 vCore) on my i7-920. That's really a guess but I can say that it seems like the more I push the more *problems* I seem to have. I unplugged the extra fan I was using for a bit of extra cooloing on the GPU and, gulp, dare I say this, I am undervolting (938 mV using EVGA Tuner) and underclocking (all the way down using EVGA Precision) to see if I can stay stable and crunching without crashing. Any chance drivers could be the issue ... 191.07 on Vista 64 using boinc manager 6.10.17?

Hey Bob, I never had any issues with my kvm's...I have (2) 4ch and (1) 2ch. I have noted the usb ones aren't as reliable as the old fashion ones tho.

I've got to the point in my RAC where any gaming puts a hit in it

My new 260 216 seems to error out now and then, then maxes out on daily WU's...sitting idle for the rest of the day.

All I want for Xmas is more GPUS

So we only need 85k ppd more each day. I will take my 3 cards off of F@H till thanksgiving. They need 300k ppd more I think for their comp. Its a lot harder to get 300k more there than it is to get 85k here or am I reading your message wrong? I am not even sure where you guys are seeing the stats. I know how to find our individual stats...let me look into this. I can prvide 3 more 275's and possibly see if I can get a 260 or 2 to help out.

Sorry, it is only capable of using Nvidia cards at this time. I think they plan on expanding into ATI but that's not likely until sometime next year.

NP, I moved the 3 275's back over, now to find a good deal on some GPU's. Either 260/216 or 275's. Anyone want to sell me some for cheap

I have got to sell the 192 core. It is just sitting. Since it acts like the other one I have decided it is the 65nm older 260s that have the problem. Seems most 55nm do ok. Waiting on a HD then installing Vista64 on the Athlon and trying it once more, different MB and all and try some under clocking and the newest beta drivers but I have no confidence it will work. It does ok on F@H except for 576x WUs and that was all they would send. Seemed to play games ok and Nvidia supposedly tests them I would just hate to sell it to someone and they had problems playing games. I may box it up and hide it in the dark corner of the PC parts closet and pretend it never happened. I have 289 reviews on ebay feedback and 100% positive and this card will screw that up, it hates me and wants to destroy me!

Can't you use it for your games and let the others be dedicated crunchers? That would help more than putting it in a dark corner...

Or if you want to put it on ebay (which i recommend), test it with the games you have, sell it and just make sure the guy knows that it won't run DC apps correctly, most won't care a bit. (You could also offer to have him send it back if he has trouble... then there's no way he can rate you poorly and it's better than the dark corner)

I should pass Riptide tomorrow in Collatz which will fulfill my goal there. I'll bring my 275 & 8800 back here thereafter.
