    Crosshair IV Owners~

Dave and crew I've got a question. Which of 4x pci-ex slots is the one thats locked at 4x? I'd like to move a dual or tri crossfire setup and I'd like to be able to run my soundcard on top of the 2/3 videocards.

    Matt

Yep. Slowest slot is always the last.

Guys, like WTF, I was quite keen on buying this board and started saving from my poor salary for this, but I swear I see at least six mosfets, nude, with no cooling on them...Three between the Southbridge and RAM slots, and the 10 mosfets around the CPU socket are NOT covered with the heatsink...What were A$u$ thinking? Isn`t this a problem, some reviews complain about the board being hot when overclocking?

Chokes do not need cooling, but I mean I still see some not-so-well covered mosfets.Excuse me for not speaking English fluently, I have troubles with technical foreign language.

Ummm.... I'm not sure who you are talking about.

But, you come into the AMD section saying your thinking about coming back to AMD.
Then you proceed to suggest that all AMD users are idiots who don't have a clue how to OC, and all they want to do is crank voltages...

Well, that certainly isn't me, or for that matter, most of the folks I talk to on the AMD side....

You know, it took me a lot to persuade a member of a gaming forum that the 1090T was a "Smarter Choice" until another XS member that resides there stepped in and agreed. Mind you that other XS member runs a 920 D0 @ 4.7 Ghz...
