    ASrock 890GX Extreme3 - UCC works!

Just got the mobo Today from Jumbo here in HK but i had to wait for one more hour coz the mobo was en route to the shop, so i had to walk around a bit thinking of what DDR3 ram to get & I also remembered that I should get an SATA HD & ODD coz this mobo doesn't have any IDE's anymore & for those still using floppy disk - no luck for you too

Video of the un-boxing, pardon the video quality coz i can't find the mem for my DC so i used my X800 phone instead

Why would you choose Gigabyte model over Asus's ? As far as I know, only Asus can unlock? Please correct me if I'm wrong.

...& here's how it would look like when the lights go on

    clear Cmos at the back

closer look at the Debug, Reset & Power On

usual place for the 8 pins power & Fan header

horizontal SATA sockets, nice fit but do you prefer Vertical ones?

the socket is really close the the RAM slots so be careful when using RAMs with sinks

Just wanted to ask, if this asrock board finaly has a stable voltage regulation. On my old Asrock Crossfire Voltage jumps up and down while stressing the cpu.

Is Asrock tech support just going to the same place as ASUS tech support/ RMA's?
I think this is a fairly valid question, I'm curious.

Esys is main Asrock distributor in our country, and they have at the moment 1003GPMW and 1004GPMW batch of 555, I've had 6 chips so far and they all unlock!

the 40C most likely due to your core voltages, but compare it to what you have(when idle) in the BIOS to be sure.
