What's your favourite movie? or a movie that left the biggest dent in your memory. Maybe some of us will find something they like or haven't seen.
I'll start with Donnie Darko and Requiem for a Dream, both are my most memorable movies.

Fight Club and American Beauty are two of my favorites movies. But just like HighJon89writes, its very hard to choose one. Depends on mood n feel. Do I want to be crying at the end? Do I want fast cars and huge explotions? ; )
If you have a chance tho I would like to recommend a Danish movie called "The Brotherhood". About two guys who is in the new age Nazi movement but then...They both find out they are gay and in love with each other. Great movie, seen in at the Gothenburg film festival a couple of weeks ago.
Loonym...You are missed.
The element of one
Breathe me in
Breathe me in
I disbelieve in separation. I close my eyes to see you.
This is for you, everything I am. This is for you, take it from me.
I, I disbelieve separation. I close my eyes
there's no escaping me
This is for you, everything I am. This is for you, take it from me.
In your heart in your soul. I perceive rejuvenation
Breathe me in. I am forever. Deep within I am eternal.
I will return to you. I am with you always. I will never turn away from you.
This is largely based on taste. For instance, I happen to like early-90s action flicks and scifi.
Best movies of all time:
- Demolition Man
- Judge Dredd
- Daylight
- Terminator II & III
- Die Hard *
- Serenity
- The Matrix
- Gran Torino
- The Green Mile
- Knowing
...and many more.
Particle's First Rule of Online Technical Discussion:
As a thread about any computer related subject has its length approach infinity, the likelihood and inevitability of a poorly constructed AMD vs. Intel fight also exponentially increases.
Rule 1A:
Likewise, the frequency of a car pseudoanalogy to explain a technical concept increases with thread length. This will make many people chuckle, as computer people are rarely knowledgeable about vehicular mechanics.
Rule 2:
When confronted with a post that is contrary to what a poster likes, believes, or most often wants to be correct, the poster will pick out only minor details that are largely irrelevant in an attempt to shut out the conflicting idea. The core of the post will be left alone since it isn't easy to contradict what the person is actually saying.
Rule 2A:
When a poster cannot properly refute a post they do not like (as described above), the poster will most likely invent fictitious counter-points and/or begin to attack the other's credibility in feeble ways that are dramatic but irrelevant. Do not underestimate this tactic, as in the online world this will sway many observers. Do not forget: Correctness is decided only by what is said last, the most loudly, or with greatest repetition.
Rule 3:
When it comes to computer news, 70% of Internet rumors are outright fabricated, 20% are inaccurate enough to simply be discarded, and about 10% are based in reality. Grains of salt--become familiar with them.
Remember: When debating online, everyone else is ALWAYS wrong if they do not agree with you!
Random Tip o' the Whatever
You just can't win. If your product offers feature A instead of B, people will moan how A is stupid and it didn't offer B. If your product offers B instead of A, they'll likewise complain and rant about how anyone's retarded cousin could figure out A is what the market wants.
Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.

Fight Club and Snatch.
Man I have a few.
World's Fastest Indian. One of the best movies ever made. I have probably watched this one more times than any other movie.

My favourite films are Raging Bull, The Big Lebowski, Shaun of the Dead, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Trainspotting, Manhattan (though I think sleeper is Woody Allen's funiest film,) the Pink Panther films (Peter Sellers was just a genius,) and Blade Runner. Embarresingly I don't think I could live without the Ace Ventura or Naked Gun films either. Superbad and Anchorman are pretty high up on my list as well but I'm not sure I could squeeze them into the top ten.
The ones that I tend to watch over and over though are the ones with the soundtracks that I really like. Quite often I'll put on a film when I'm doing something just for the soundtrack. Dazed and Confused is aweosme for its soundtrack, as is The Big Lebowski, Easy Rider, Donnie Darko and I really like the soundtrack to 28 days later as well but I can't watch the film frequently as its not exactly relaxing. (It is a great film though, the sequel was surprisingly good as well, I mean its not amazing but its certainly better than most of the glut of action horror films that arrived around roughly the same time.)
I'd like to say the Star Wars, Matrix, Indiana Jones, Terminator, Alien and Predator films also feature in my favourites. But each of those franchises were slowly ruined for me personally because I didn't like certain sequels.
Oh the Back to the future trilogy is great as well and I challenge anyone to come up with a better one. The only trilogy that I can think of as good as Back to the Future is maybe the Godfather but they aren't as easy or as fun to watch (especially when it comes to godfather 3.)
