Lotus Elise SC 1min 53.62sec


And the Caterham looks the most fun to boot.

I'm pretty sure that if they used an exige instead of the elise things wouldve gone eitherway. The caterham looks like a fun buggy to drive though

I would've thought the Evo would edge the Murcielago too, that car is so nose heavy by different reports, I can't imagine it going that well in the twisty sections.
I think topgear did a Evo 9 vs Murcielago once and the Evo9 was so effortless to keep in touch around the track (they put both on at the same time).

Every track event I participated in during the last 4 years while driving my 2006 Evolution IX, I murdered every M3 on the track. The only guys who gave me real competition were the Lotus Elise/Exige's and Z06 Corvettes.

All my Evo had were a chip, exhaust, high flow CAT, and swift springs.

I believe that you're thinking of the Evolution FQ400 vs. the Lambo Murcielago. If that were the case,the Evo would clearly win on a tight road track.

The only 4 door BMW M3 has been the E36. That was also a limited edition car. The new E90 M3 is also going to be a 4 door version, but that isn't really out yet.

I would say that BMW has been making 4 door M3's for years.

Like chipmonk says though, the Caterham beat them all by not 1 sec, not 2 sec ..but 10 seconds.

Given that low to the ground cars feel faster anyhow and wind in your hair cars feel damn fast as well then how fast do you think the Caterham feels given I have shown it 4 wheels off the ground above and it is 10 seconds quicker?
