Hot damn, that is impressive Nick! Definitely need a higher multiplier, need 33x so you can use a good memory divider

Seems like these clarkdale monsters even would want 28x multi or even 29x so you don't have to have to have so much luck with your cpu & mobo to hit the high clocks. Pretty much all Clarksdale results we've seen so far seems to stop at 250~259 bclk when going for the high frequencies.

If blck limitation wasn't an issue I'd think a good sample without any serious cold bug issues would allow for 6.9~7.0GHz benching and maybe 7.2~7.3GHz suicide shot at ~1.9v.

But yea this is really great result from i5-670 congrats!!

EDIT: It's a shame about having to use 6x mem multi, is it even possible for DDR3 kits to reach CL5? or is that out of spec or is it the lowest theoretically possible?

Are you sure 250~259 BCLK limit for clarkdale?

OK, 250~259 BCLK is limit for normal motherboards/clarkdales. xD

I suppose your mobo's gotten a few special treatments or the mobo or cpu has to be from outer space? Seems like no gem can bypass your hands.

    Damn teasers! xD

No online sale doesnt mean you cannot find it. No ASUS Mars is in the US. It means it's not available? You cannot find it in your country or somewhere. That's your problem.

Andre, dont mistake Germany for a developement country....
Its not for sale, and wont be before Intel wishes it to....

The Clarkdale will be available at launch.... I do know where to get a retail chip now, wont pretend that I dont - but legal retail sales WONT start before launch, dont question that....

like i said Andre, make sure you have a nice pillow on that forehead of yours...

    http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...d.php?t=242073

and slapping a 'legal retail' sales addendum on it is just retarded. keep some Advil handy too Andre.

*sorry Nick but sometimes i have to amuse myself, i'm sure you understand

whatever , i just want to show what these new chips can do

breaking the BCLK wall again yesterday , also "higher" mutiplier

    292 BCLK x 23 = 6699.3

    288.3 x23 = 6630 Super pi 1M 6.438 S

one more Higher BCLK benching 3dmark05

    284.3 x23 = 6539 , score = 51033

maybe someone's friend also can bench this befault 3.07g chips with the same Mhz on 3dmark05
