Been playing with my new 955, paired it back with my ASUS 4850 TOP (degraded GDDR3). Looks promising so far, I think X6 will score better in 3DM06 though, not sure yet.

Super-ultra pencil mod on GPU, 1.51v/2.18v for 850/1190 (1.25v/1.99v stock)...weaned it down from 1.7v GPU

@cnzdrn: I had the same problem on Extreme6 - last working mem multi is x22 (DDR-2200). Don't know about Fatlity, but Extreme6 also has very limited Vsa adjustment (4 steps in 0,1 granularity).

Exactly mr Foyle, I have same settings on bios.
There is a "serious bios" for extreme6 as far as I know, unfortunately not for the fatality.
When I find online sannino I ask him if it works.
I can boot with 24x on air, only with 100 base clock, using hynix (Transcend 2400) @ 10 12 12 1t 1,72V.
My PSC and BBSE can't go over 2200.
On cold 24x give me post code 23 XD.

I have 4 x 64gb m4 in raid0 on 9260-4i but I would like another ssd to just use as an all around bench drive.
Ln2 is not a prob. mainly I need to get my hardware going again. I am going to get a 3570k and a 3770k. so we can get both points for the team.

edit jsut called paul and yeah you want at least a 9260-8i. we all have fast path keys. you cant run FP key on 9240 your onboard intel raid would be better or the same.
see if you can find a used 9260-8i on ebay.

Its been so long since I've really looked at my rank on HWBOT in 2 years. I'm currently ranked 33 on xs. I want to start contributing again. The mv gene comes tomorrow and I ordered a 3770k. I still never put my 24/7 3540 rig on ln2/58 sabertooth on ln2.

so Im thinking I should work on that. also the 655k I never really maxed out. I can run that.
is steve ro getting an ivy setup? I want to do some pc mark stuff. damn just noticed the apr contest was G80.

well Im not going to sell it since its my best golden cpu and Max formula 3 was the best board from that era. I've learned something from the past. Always keep your best hdwr boards and mem mainly from each gen. (for future monthly hw contests)
I have all my best stuff still all the way to dfi lanparty UT days.
for 1156 I killed everything except the 655k and the max 3 board.

for vga, I have 2 8800gts and a 6950. and a slim tek 9 which I never used. I just installed the temp probe to it.
screw the recent submissions on ivy. they wont last long as Beep beep is implying. (no need for the rude smiley)
but I get his point. I want us to go in full force this month. its been a while man. Im very nervous getting back in here and trying to insulate. I feel like Im learning how to oc all over again.

I cant wait to see how they do on ivy. I forgot all the os tweaks. right now I need to get a os drive going for ivy. my plan for ivy is as soon as I get the board Im gonna just use air and get acquainted with the settings and get the mem maxed out. and then ill rip it down and conformal the board and insulated it and get the pot mounted and then get some ln2. sound like a plan?
