Well, the OP spider if ingested would probably migrate to the space between the brain and the skull and dig in for an extended visit.

Spiders and other insects often crawl in people's mouths while they sleep, seeking warmth and are then accidently swallowed. Happens to everyone. Its not a big deal. Mmmmm protein!
This cosmic dance of bursting decadence and withheld permissions, twists all our arms collectively, but if sweetness can win, and it can, then I'll still be here tomorrow to high-five you yesterday, my friend. Peace.

widows and recluses dont go in the same category a black widow dosnt hurt much and is about half as bad as a bee sting. a recluse u will need an anti venom in like 30-60mins or u have to remove tissue

and daddy long legs arnt spiders, they are closer to Solifugae (things like camel spiders, that arachnids but not spiders) even though they are classified as Araneomorphae becouse they have mandibles instead of fangs and eat things instead of sucking out the juices

    Thankfully, no, you don't.

Anyway, when I see large spiders I want to shoot them. Unfortunately, I'm not allowed to open up with my AR-10 in the house.

And what would I do if the spider was ON my AR-10? *lock up*
Particle's First Rule of Online Technical Discussion:
As a thread about any computer related subject has its length approach infinity, the likelihood and inevitability of a poorly constructed AMD vs. Intel fight also exponentially increases.

    Rule 1A:
Likewise, the frequency of a car pseudoanalogy to explain a technical concept increases with thread length. This will make many people chuckle, as computer people are rarely knowledgeable about vehicular mechanics.

    Rule 2:
When confronted with a post that is contrary to what a poster likes, believes, or most often wants to be correct, the poster will pick out only minor details that are largely irrelevant in an attempt to shut out the conflicting idea. The core of the post will be left alone since it isn't easy to contradict what the person is actually saying.

    Rule 2A:
When a poster cannot properly refute a post they do not like (as described above), the poster will most likely invent fictitious counter-points and/or begin to attack the other's credibility in feeble ways that are dramatic but irrelevant. Do not underestimate this tactic, as in the online world this will sway many observers. Do not forget: Correctness is decided only by what is said last, the most loudly, or with greatest repetition.

    Rule 3:
When it comes to computer news, 70% of Internet rumors are outright fabricated, 20% are inaccurate enough to simply be discarded, and about 10% are based in reality. Grains of salt--become familiar with them.

Remember: When debating online, everyone else is ALWAYS wrong if they do not agree with you!

    Random Tip o' the Whatever
You just can't win. If your product offers feature A instead of B, people will moan how A is stupid and it didn't offer B. If your product offers B instead of A, they'll likewise complain and rant about how anyone's retarded cousin could figure out A is what the market wants.

He, sadly I have to believe in this myth, because I happen to almost eaten one in my sleep. I was on holiday on a boat (Holland lol). I woke up and g'damned, something was coming out of my mouth. I put on the light and there it was, a damn spider, not a big one but still enough proof for me they crawl in people's mouth's. I almost jumped into the water lol, but I was probably 11 years old back then.

Bah I once woke up to a LOAD of ants in my mouth. I fell asleep right after dinner while watching tv and didn't brush my teeth. I now brush after every meal.

unfortunatly it is a myth, for the most part, but sure it does happen to some., it was 7 spiders a year at one point, since they like to crawl into dark warm places... (now you know why your other sleeps with panties on!.. or maybe you do to...)

This is why I'm sometimes hesitant to run Open-Case systems sometimes... because after two weeks after my current build, I noticed a rather large and thin spider crawling in and around my PSU -.-"

haha I ran my crunchers in someone's basement for a summer (friend was kind enough to let me run them there since I had no internet capable of them at home at the time) and when I pulled them out of the basement later there were a few spider webs inside and a bunch of dead insects
