    P4 630 + ASUS Striker Extreme (Hit a Wall)

I can seem to get the CPU past 4.2GHz no matter what I change.
At the moment I have all stock voltages and settings and it runs just fine there but to go any higher I just wont do it no matter what vcore I set or settings I lower/change.
The FSB & Memory are unlinked so I didnt think the memory would be a factor.

    Any help/idea?

There is always a wall in OCing. There is only so far you can push that silicone. I'd say 4.2Ghz is a pretty good OC.

How are your temps and what kind of cooling are you on?

680i chipset is full of holes..you have to have to watch where you clock. Good luck.

Hi, I don't wanna make new thread, so I post my question here. Are those cheap, good MOBOs on chipsets like P35, 965, P31 etc. are good for OC Cedar Mill, Prescott ?
