Bullant there must be lot of humidity in australia, I never get much snow while benching on cold. Sadly I cant get the pci-e issue fixed, pretty sure its the cpu.

I'm almost sure your pci-e issue is cpu related, do you have another one to try by chance to eliminate this option? I had this same issue with my 7970's on Ivy, always stuck at x8.

Don't know if anyone is currently in the market for one of these boards, but at the moment there is a $20 MIR available from US retailers such as Newegg thru 10/15/14.

Loud its kinda bad luck to have it so. Could it be some gold contact points not getting contact or just faulty CPU. Damn I dont have another one in hand right now.

Luumi if you nearly sure its your CPU maybe buy a pentium to test your theory. Besides pentiums look fun!

Fun to play with for sure. Most of them eat volts unfortunately, this one scaling 4700 1.3V to 5000 1.6V

Bull question for you, have you ever had a psc kit dont scale with voltage ????

explication, i tested yesturday a 2200 pi kit under LN2, this kit dont like the voltage, because with tight timming, full pot -189, 2.12v 2750mhz, my 32m pass no problem, but if i put 0.1v of more like 2.13 it's "nt exactly in run" in the first loop and it's the same result between 2.13-2.28v

may be if i play with the dram frequency can help ??? i dont know , on air is a killer kit, one of best i ever had

thx for your help and im so sorry for my bad english

    Hey mate,yeah every kit will
Have a max scaling voltage,my kits range from 2.15-2.27v the lowest kit I have is the same kit as yours 2200 cl7 max 2.15v

Quite often in my testing if you passed the scaling point of volts it will fail 32m quite quick,it may be the limit of your kit.You also could of had some moisture in the session, just do another session see if there any improvement, can also just play around with ioa-iod-imc volts sometimes lowering ioa and iod volts can let you push dram volts a little more.

Have you tested each dim on air see what max volts on air is,maybe one dim is lot different to the other,so yeah try those few things if it still the same in next session it may be the kits max scaling volts

Does seem little low on volts as most I've tested do 2.15v,seems like nice kit tho

One other thing to try,see if volts improve with little warmer temps ,try -150 or so see if it helps ,won't hurt to try

Your -189 temps are dim temps or pot temps?

Thx you for your fast respond Pro i never tested only one stick on air always in dual it's a killer killer kit on air 2,12v it's very low volt scale

my ioa and iod yesturday play between maybe 1.2 and 1.25 and i use no vaseline or other insulate on my stick

the temp is dirctly on the module stick not on the pot like KPC i use the EK pot and i have a hole on the module for that,i have -189 directly on the chip of ram

doyou play with you DRAM Voltage Switching Frequency ??? me is always on 1100mhz

    Hey,
Yeah I normally leave mine on 1100mhz as well

I do play a bit with VTT DDR Voltage and couple others, just depending if im using blk or no blk
