Damn, nice time! That's what i was running with 9-12-11-21-1T@2666mhz with x52/x49! (same kit)

Dialing in 2800mhz now, can't get it to boot past 2828mhz on mine though which is annoying. Sitting at 9-12-12-21-1T@1.85v and going through tertiary's. Looking forward to getting some 4/5 gig runs done once finished and posting some screens! Quick question though, i can drop tRAS lower than 21, i.e, is it advised or does the cas+tRCD rule come into play?

With regards to tRAS all I can say is it works for me! I believe the CPU has as much to do with low tRAS as the RAM as my other chip in my Giga can run 2860 @ 12 where as my OCF chip needs 15+

So so but a little disappointed after spending 4 days OC'ing ram. Seem to be a good few seconds off the average and thats with using a stripped copy of XP and an attempt at wazza. I'll need to go watch splaves vid on wazza and do more investigating.

Apologies for no timings window in the screens. On a MSI board so tweakit doesn't work for me and haven't installed command centre. All timings are reasonably tight but struggled to get the _DD/_DR's locked down.

9-12-12-18-1T@1.89v Corsair Dominator Platinum 2666C10.

One thing thats puzzling me is latency is still around 40ns. Can't seem to drop it much at all. Not sure if thats a ram/board/timing issue.

This was pretty much the limits that i could achieve, can't remember if i did that with 50 or 52 on the core. I'd adjusted a couple of latency options available within the msi bios but couldn't do a pi run with them.

asrock memory tools works for me on mpower max, not sure about other models. Numbers are tiny though, i can't read anything in your screen shot.

im going to take a guess here, but im willing to bet its the mpower. look at the top scores, you are pretty much in line with the msi guys for a first try.

My first run with OCF

It's been quite a while for me now..
today petris triple point i ordered finally arrived and i had to give it a try. the evening started at about 7 o'clock. as i removed hs carefully from tridents, i had one dimm that was badly soldered (again!), ironically the best one which was stuck on hs. i already had a similar experience when i tried some trident on ivy bridge without hs on ln2 - after cooling down, some ics blew up from the pcb. so i decided to take them aside, with one stick dead and sticked to some pi i got from Roman/der8auer. after some 4ghz action for country cup, i switched to 5ghz and tried more and more. now, 7 hours later, i got tired and decided to post some results (the setup wanted to run again and again, no errors, no strange behaviour, setup 1:0 me )

it was a pain to get some proper runs. i had about 5 runs that failed at loop 23 or 24, most of them failed before. next thing of course is to get a fast one..after i had some, i thought..oops, you should have captured this one on video..so let's do one again..hm not exact ..so one more..not exact? after another hour i got one..luckily that one was the fastest i did today
