I'm not a gamer... so i don't overclock my videocard, what i like is that it was relatively cheep to build and totally silent.

man I wish I knew where to get that converter. I remember a thread from gigabyte 2 years ago that said they had the converter but its yet to be found. the plastic fill port cracked as soon as I poured ln2 and I almost killed that board.
it was more of a novelty post than actual tried and true mod. oh well. Im still saving up for one of vinces slims. sorry to get your hopes up. but it the mod was totally meant for comedy/

Had some friends over for a LAN party and needed an extra computer. Luckily had these parts laying around but no case. Easy 10 minute fix...

I hated the noise level on my old Radeon X1950XT so I ghetto modded that as well!

I think that the best place to post this stuff is here

I called this stuff "NVATI", because it is made from an 8800 GTX with GPU VRM controller dead and an HD5870 with dead memory controller.
using stock VRM for VRAM would be too easy, so I had adapted the good old Hipro's DDR maximizer as VRAM VRM.

TBH the card itself is quite crap, but who cares?

was wondering where you would put the PSU

I have the identical case. and currently have 15 harddrives in there.
still room for 7 more. and have dual PSU in there as well.

Edit. I modded the bottom front to have 2 120mm fans and put 2 120mm fans between each row of harddrives.
I found the harddrives wern't getting enough airflow as it was. with your configuration and if you put 24 hardrives in the bottom even if they are all green drives i still think the temps of the dives will go above 50Deg c easy.
    Just not enough air flow.

I'd like to see some pics of the fan mods u've done
as for my temps, they are fine - in the 'before' config, there were 3x 120x38* mm fans, 3K rpm, 45dB, 133cfm the highest hdd temp was...~43c iirc... in the new config I lose the centre fan.. but will see if I can add a 92mm fan below the 120mm @ rear, then see how temps are

In the picture you only had 6 harddrives, that may change once you have enough to block airflow
but with that much fan power it could be fine...
I try to keep my machine as quite as posible.
I'll take pictures tomorrow and post them.
