    Asus P4C 800 Deluxe 10.11 bios

Looking for input from anyone who has tried the new 10.11 bios. I am running the 10.10s with no problems I'm also running a raid 0 using WD Raptors. Thanks for the input.

I have found the 1010's to be one of the worse BIOS around

Try the 1007 Finals or the 1007.012 BIOS instead

I have tried the 1011 series & they gave me lots of problems, although they oced pretty well.

I have even asked OPP what BIOS he uses & he uses the 1007.012

And what about the P4C800E? the same stands too?

Right now I'm with the 1011.006 beta and still can't get it to post above 1.6000V.....

About the BIOS I cant help. But can you tell me your opinion about the Raptor. I have 2 raptors in raid 0 in the same board. I'm impressed by is performance. But I hate the noise. They make a continuous whistle. Do you have the same thing going on? What your opinion.
Sorry for staing out of the subject from this thread.

check if the case is vibrating a little, if yes try to put some gum between the drives and the mounting.

OK, got the newest 1011 BIOS, now I got 1.525 - 1.6V and 1.7V up..... that's something better

Eventhough @1.7V set in BIOS I get like 1.58V under load.... a way to fix that? MOSFETs cooling maybe.... eventhough they don't heat that much...

thanks for all the replies everyone. Metro I like the raptors just fine. No noise problems here. I did notice that initially there were a couple of times I heard them. My system is relatively quiet so I would be checking the mounting on yours. If your still having noise then I would take them back. Is it just one or both?
Guess I'll switch back to the 1007. I think I have a copy on disk somewhere. Thanks I'll let everyone know how it goes. I've been stuck as far as ocing for a while. Not able to move up. Mabye this will help.

    saaya:
I dont have any vibration. But I will do it. I thing the noise is from the rotation of the disk. I hate the noise they make.

I also have a quiet system. I have revised the mounting a few times. I will follow the advise from saaya, but I dont thing it will works. Take them back? Here were I live is not a very easy task. I have whait for it a eternity.

Didn't think I was going to make it back. I tried the 1007s again, and the 10.11. The 10.11s almost did me in. Couldn't get rid of them and couldn' get the10.10s back on. All is fine now. So much for never being happy. I'm happy now. for a while.

There was actually a POST about a mod to stabilize the vcore and I'm surprised that no one took an interest in it.

Memory mod on these ultras is borderline worthless and has an extreme mortality rate.

Digressing ever so slightly, I'm using the 1011 bios for the Asus P4C800-E and I'm very happy with it. No obvious problems - running my L311 3.0C @ 4.2ghz. Has anyone tried the new beta? I'm not sure how it is different from this release.

    Cool

I'm using the 1011 final. It's actually given me 3 extra MHz FSB stable with this 2.4C (290 to 293).

Well it just shows how different everyones rig is. I went back to the 10.10s with a stop off at the 1007.12s along the way. I sure appreciate the 10.10s.
