WOL from Standby (S3)

Does anyone have any ideas on how I can make this work?

Right now, my eXpert will WOL if it is off and i sent it the magic packet, but not from standby or hibernate.

If I goto the lan port properties, and change the setting so activity on the ports wakes the PC from standby. but it will wake prematurely from any activity, including whatever the router normally does.

looking in the dfi eXpert manual, it says the only way to wake a machine from standby is from IRQ or DMA activity (mouse and keyboard do this).

So basically i need to find a way for my pc to wake from standby using the magic packet, or some other method. If anyone has any ideas for me, or mods, please post

(i don't know why it just can't listen for magic packets in standby )
