TeamXtreem PC4000 Cronus (-5B F) - Let's see your Infineon chips do this!

http://www.hl2online.com/images/10x275_cronus2gb.JPG

These sticks just love the tight timings and as such I love them.

Seriously, have you ever seen micron this tight at these frequencies? Sticks running fully stable with 2.8v, cpu is an opty 146.

Very nice  You might want to test out where gains from tight timings end though, ie sometimes trc/trfc 7/12 may be too tight and you'd get better performance at say 9/15. Either way, those timings are impressive.. lets hope the team infineon I get tomorrow does that well

These are just perfect. At these speeds TRTW of 2 is "too tight" and actually lowers scores and stability. But everything else I've set here is great.

This is Micron btw, but it looks as tight as a lot of Infineon.

How about some 3D

Also I will mention a trfc of 12 won't be stable at all for you. Thats way too low for this timing...

woah could you have an even larger screenie... crop and resize my friend

infineon hmmm - straight from bios set timings you see.. a64tweaker only used to display what was set in bios

Dual stressprime large FFTs with 890MB allocated to each instance

Idle and Load

It's shame infineon chips these days aren't as good as the first batch though

It really depends if there is anything else these can do besides 1M. There is quite a few Infineon Rev.C kits than could pull that off and @ 5-2-3-3.0. I have one here that can do 32M @ 278Mhz and all 3D one wants at 272Mhz.

So, you need to show us something more, please BTW, I changed IMG tags toi URL in your 1st post...

For the last time, THIS IS MICRON -5B F!

They are totally 32m stable, but won't run COD2 for longer than 15mins without crashing to desktop. Sadly I can't do anymore testing for now as a fan next to the mobo on my test bench was knocked over and chopped off the power switch and possibly a cap. I'm ordering a new board overnight so I can have it when my dualcore arrives tomorrow.

5b F should have a pretty long lifespan. been using mine for almost 4 months now, no signs of slowdowns yet

enjoy, looks like you got a pretty good set i'm assuming you actively cool ram as well?
also, lets hope your new board does for you what my new board did for me

ok, from my perspective and has been playing the 5b-f on the 9~11 multiplier restricted CPU such as Opteron or a64, if you do the divider, the stability and overclock on 5b-f decreases like nowhere ; however, insteresting enough, if you have fx series(at least 57 or even 60), try running upper divider like 216mhz, 233mhz, 250mhz, then you will be amazed by how tight and strong your 5bf can go. be aware of this.

i noticed this earlier, back when i was using the 704 bios with the >1:1 ratios, setting it to 233mhz got me a bit extra. i should really try that again

But lots of unsatisfied customers.

Great results man, hope you get it completely stable (and even higher if possible )

Believe it or not guys I'm actually selling this set now. I need to fund the new mobo, so it was either these or the new Ballistix set I have. The ballistix aren't quite as tight but clock a bit better, however these guys were substantially easier to overclock.

looks like you got the pick of the litter!
my cronus microns won't even boot at 9x250 with 2.5-4-4-8
...even though that's the SPD rating
...which apparently was some sort of mistake.

Ya, the true rating is 3-3-3-8. Apparantly, they used the programming from another set as a template and never bothered to change it from 2.5-3-3-8 to rated 3-3-3-8 (or something like that, I just know they never bothered to reprogram something)
