I am getting 1-2 of these for Christmas and I will work on the Vmods unless someone gets them done before Jan. 1st.

I am confident I can work them out since I will have the card in my hand.

Why do you guys want to buy these? The PCB looks simplified. New is not always better

well, it is a nice looking card. Beyond that my friend nabbed one and the ram did 1.26 stock everything in a Sonata II. Seems pretty damn nice, plus these GT's get Samsung ram instead of Infineon.

as for the new PCB, I figure yes, it is simplified; however that can mean one of two [or both] things;

~simplified to shrink & cut costs
~optimized to run better, faster, stronger

Read plenty of reviews where the card scored very well.

Why not give us your opinion on a better card versus the above response..no insult intended.

I was concerned about the voltage regulation due to the lack of mosfets and ICs on the back of the card compared to other makers...but doesnt appear to be an issue according to the reviews.

Hi all, first post!

Has anyone tried the BIOS 1.5vCore mod on the new XFX PCB yet? I'm only interested in doing the BIOS mod and the pencil mod (pretty bad at soldering). Also, from pics it looks like this thing has a copper heatsink, can anyone verify?
