With load temp under 46ºC, am I safe using 1.7vcore on my A64 (754) Newcastle?

I was just wondering since my load temps are not high if it will be safe to use up to 1.7vcore.
Regards

Those CPU's are default Vcore of 1.5 or 1.55 IIRC...so 1.7 is only 0.2V higher....shouldn't be a big issue...expecially if you stay under 50 C

You're never 100% safe even turning on your computer :p That's not too bad on the voltage, though

under 50c should be fine.

i always say, if you can hold your hand on the heatsink then the cpu is fine.

This Appication will tell you your max Core temp the processor will handle.
*Download AMD64 TCaseMax*

my Venice is 59c max. I believe the older 64's were 60c or so?
