Asus P4C800-E Delux and 3,06 P4-M

I have a 3,06 p4-m and a Asus P4C800-E Delux, can`t get it to even post
Tryed to put the 3.06 in my old soltek sl-85erv2 and postet fine 12*133
The P4C800-E Delux is working fine with a 1.8 normal P4 cpu
Even tryed to flash the 1024 beta and the 1023 but with no luck.
Anybody with a solution to me problem ?

The newer BIOS doesn't support it for some reason. Try and re-flash with an older BIOS and I think you'll find it works. I have had the same board and processor, and it wouldn't POST with the later BIOS, when using that CPU.

Good Luck

Uh, odd.
I think the bios mine worked with may well have been 1016...
Give it a go, it definately worked with one of them ones and not the others.

Let us know if you get it going

If it's the same chip that I have (3.06 533MHz M) then it does. I ran with mine for a bit, but it defaulted to the 12x, and I got bored with it (It is an E.S. though). If definately only worked with one of the BIOS though. I had to keep flashing back to use it, as I was playing with the new BIOS to try and see if they figured out how to utilise the 23x.

Are you sure the IC7 series works with it? I had an IC7-Max3, and I don't remember it POSTing with it, although it was a while ago so it may have done...
