Abit and DFI crossfire boards, a question of specifications

Abit AT8 Crossfire
DFI RDX200 CF-DR

Looking at the specs I noticed that the Abit has 4x SATA II ports whereas DFI has 8x SATA I ports, this is all because of the Abit using the ULi M1575 SB over the ATI SB450 correct?

Also the DFI seems to have the ALC882 HD Audio modual on Karajan over the ALC850 which is on most other boards, is ALC882 Intel's HD component [lots of Intel based mobos seem to use ALC882] and is it standard on Crossfire or merely a design choice DFI made [and if it is why isn't ALC882 replacing ALC850 across the board?]?

thanks

well managed to answer my own questions basically; for anyone that cares...

Crossfire [xpress 200] uses the Azelia HD audio codec [ALC882] thus ALL crossfire mobos ought have HD audio. as for the SATA II, the ULi 1575 SB has SATA II support but the ATI SB450 does not
