need vmod!
i need a vmod to my albatron 6600U,
can fix more images later
i think its the same pcb as the gigabyte 6600 with the passiv heatsink, something whis this card is wierd, it has 2.8ns memory, bga, and a 6600gt core.
please if you wonder what it says on top of any of the chips feel free to ask and i will check, if i have time i will post pictures without the heatsink tomorrow

Are you sure that the last 2 chips are labeled RT614. I can't find any information about them on the manufacturers website.
Can you check the voltage at pin 8 on the RT9214, and the resistance between pin 6 and ground. I can mark the pins on a picture if you need me to.

Can you get any clearer pictures of the chips? Its hard to see which pins are which on them.
Edit: you check the resistance with the power off.

That makes more sense
Can you get any clearer pictures of those chips so that I can mark the pins on?

ok sure, will try soon, 708ohm on leg 3 (ground) and 6 on the chip in the left corner. the one closest to the right corner was 990ohm and the one below iit was 606ohm
heres the pics

For all of the mods, connect 20k variable resistors between pin 6 and ground (pin 3). You might want to use a 50k variable resistor for the chip which read 990ohms between pin 6 and ground if there is too much voltage at maximum resistance.
To find out which chip controls which voltage, check the voltage at pin 8.
Note: XS owners and members will not be liable for any damage caused to you or your hardware, neither can be liable for any breach of the warranty.

I would only recommend using pin 8 to check what voltage each regulator is controlling. You will need to probe around on capacitor legs and incudctors to find proper read points for the voltages

okey the one on the left corner is probably the vdimm chipp, 2.6v was it, and the one closest to the right corner was vpgu with 1.35, a small question, if i find a way to lower the resistance between pin 6 and 3 (by pencil?) would that result in higher voltage?
im pretty sure on the answer but ust asking to be sure

If you put a lower resistance between pins 3 and 6 by pencil, there will be a voltage increase, but be careful not to use too much oencil at once.
You might be able to find the resistor which is connected between pins 3 and 6, which would be easier to pencil (if you want to do the mod using a pencil).
