the grand prix has started!
the first "track" we will race this week will be 3dmark2003.
you have one week to tweak your "fuels" (cooling) and try different sets of "tires" (drivers) to max out your machines and post a link to the orb showing your fastest round in this racetrack
please keep this thread on topic and only post results and dont start a discussion in here, we are around 100 people and things would get messy
please only post once in this thread and edit your post if you have new results instead of making a new post for each update, thx
if you want to discuss how you best tweak your machine for this racetrack please use this discussion thread
all you have to post in this thread is a link to the orb with your highest result so far, BUT it will of course be much more interesting if you post some infos about the run(s)
ok, enough talking

12 points higher than my previous best score
I've finally managed to find some chipset drivers which seem to work reasonably well . If I have enough time before the competition ends, I'll try for 5400.

My pathetically low first run. Format & Reinstall tonight methinks, then bench again tomorrow when it's cooler in the morning

Best I could do on my x700 on stock air without installing W2K somewhere was 8794 .
I suddenly don't feel bad, that's 15th overall in this card class regardless of cooling method.
