Where Are The X850XT PE Or X850XT VIVO'sIn AUS??
Been going through supplier after supplier for the last 2 days here in Australia...
Seems no-one has the X850XT VIVO let alone the X850XT PE here in the land of OZ...
Had to settle for just a plain jain PowerColor X850XT w/out VIVO...
The only reason I ask for the VIVO is because of the chance that a bios flash can maybe gain a bit of performance like it did in the ol' days with the 9800pro's & the GeCube bioses...
Something must be really wrong for the distributors to not even be able to get one...
Hang on, they don't even have an ETA on the X850XT VIVO/PE's arrival & how long has it been since the X850XT has been launched??
Is this how it is for most countries?? I'm not even gonna bother with the folks in the US of A as you guys there can pretty much get your hands on anything but the rest of the darn world??
So, who has the hidden stash of X850XT VIVO/PE's?? I believe ATI when they said that: "It's not gonna be a paper launch like with the X800XT PE, the X850 series will be available in massive quantities when launched"
Or are we folks in the land down under just not good enough for to have anything resembling performance in the IT world... By the time the X850 series becomes available the R520 will be out... Hang on, might as well get the X850XT anyways as we'd probably be facing another paper launch...
