Anyone have experience with CH-5

Well, I just ripped the heat spreaders off my XMS ram and it is indeed CH-5. I managed to knock off 2 resistors in the process, they were on empty ram banks thou so I'm HOPEFULLY it all still works (I can prolly fix them thou, solder points have some size to em).

But does anyone know what I should be expecting from them? how do they respond to voltage and what are normal timings etc...

on a NF7 with 2.95v I was doing DDR450 2-3-2-6 and on my Neo2 2-3-2-7 DDR440 has been hit but it's been a little sketchy

You got a pic of the ram that was badly damaged ?
Also.... CH-5 shouldn't be that bad.

Some ch-5 performs great (similar to bh-5 sometimes) and other stuff performs mediocre. Just give it some volts and see if it can keep up with tight timings.

Hi, I just bought 2 used modules of corsair 3200LL rev1.2 (ch-5), and mine are indeed good overclockers, I was able to reach 245mhz@2-2-2-8@3.2v. Below 3.2v they ran rather poorly in comparison, i.e. only reached 218mhz@same timings on 3.1v.

hmm, time to volt-mod my mobo. Actually I should probably wait to see if I should RMA it first :p

on a related note, I re-soldered the resistors and it looks good so I'm hopeful. This week however, I get to use my dads Micron 46V32M8 -5B C ram in a 2x512mb comfig, thats the RAM in OCZ EB (his is Buffalo) and in my non-volt modded board I hit 255mhz 2.8v 3-3-2-8 so I'm enjoying it.

but thanks for the replies guys, didnt quite realize how much promise this jazz had
