I had an old duron 1,3ghz some time ago. Maxed out @ 1480mhz real lousy overclocker.

Nice OC (better than my duron ) but not xtreme perhaps

Just remebered. I coulden't change Vcore on my motherbord those days. That's probably why it didn't OC well Aopen MK77M-V

its a 1.3ghz. its a friend of mines old proccy, and i asked for it just to mess around... he still hasnt mailed to me... so im still waiting

i doubt it will match my 1.2ghz t-bird, as this has 4x the l2 cache, and gets up to 1.48ghz benchable. but it will still be fun to mess around with another processor.

They aren't super locked.

They just have a multiplier of 13 wich causes that you can't choose a working multiplier under 13.

just change the multiplier to something under 13. like 12 or 12.5

by cutting and connecting the bridges. You can head over the the interactive painting guide on oc-inside

cheers

Put it under a phase change and give it hell!

That reminds me of the time I first clocked my classic Athlon 800 to 904 MHz

hmmmm... the old Classic Athlons+Freespeed Pro days. I Clocked mine to 1.1GHz with my current chiller. Was the first time I see the 1Ghz mark on the screen. I miss those days
