Taking off A64 IHS, Worth it?

To all that has taken off the heatspreaders on you P4s and A64, how much more mhz did you guys get? Im stuck at 2655mhz right now on my 3200+ and im thinking of taking the heatspreader off but i need to know if its worth teh hassel and the worry that goes with it........ thanks....

Just do it bro you might get lucky and hit 2665mhz,lol.

Corners chip very easily onder pressure. be carefull mounting.

Do you realy want to viod warranty (visual) on a chip thats quite expensive?

If so, do it. It might be worth it. But i wouldn't except much.

Don't do it trust me.

but i suggest that you lap it. here this is what i did a couple of days ago and gained few mhz extra stable on my 24/7 rig.
