I'll take the P180 mini over something that's called "da box" anyday. The heat buildup will be pretty bad as well, although not quite as bad as in the Lian Li V350.

I agree that the name sucks, but who cares? The name means nothing. I have the P180 Mini and Im looking forward to gettin rid of it. Its a good case but its not a small case. I dont think the heat buildup is gonna be much worse than the P180 Mini. But I guess we will know when the reviews are out.

Basically this is an imporoved V350.

But with only one 120mm exhaust airflow is not that great. And I doubt you can fit a fan on the side of the case, internally at least. The 180 mini has a 200mm and at least one 120mm, with the option to add more. Da box is so small it will have heat issues like the V350 as soon as you have cables going everywhere, cards installed etc.

For a non overclocked system it will be good though, and it seems that it can house a pretty big cooler so it's not that bad. But speaking from experience using anything but the P180 mini has proved to be impossible with a decent overclock.

Well i prefer size over extreme overclock, and at least Wolf at 4GHz should not be a problem.

I fail too see the point with the P180 Mini, it too big, i would prefer a A05 that is roughly the same size and a full size ATX mobo.

But let the reviews speak before we conclude anything.

By the way, I find the wide design of cases like this and the V350 actually more cumbersome than a slimmer, higher case. But that's personal I guess.

The p180 mini is only about 4" shorter than my TJ06, and probably the same compared to the original p180. My antec 300 is smaller than the p180 mini. Its the biggest mATX case I've ever seen. Something like the box is more size appropriate.

Think of the nzxt rouge.... it was 16.6" x 10.9" x 14.5". WTF. That's massive.

If you look at the GMC R-3 Corona, Its smaller than most cases period (not thinking slim itx cases) and holds a full ATX board and WILL hold a Mugen 2 inside.

While there are some improvements to me made with this design, its moving in the right direction. With i7 and very OC'able mATX boards, this is a dream for a lot of people, or at least getting there.

Oh yes, like I said this is an improvement over the V350 which has a similar appearance (but is slightly smaller iirc).

Not the same market, there is a distinct difference between µATX towers and cube cases, and it's been like this since the first cube cases showed up.
Most people who worries about the cooling capacity would go for the tower. The mini P180 is even big for being a µATX tower.

Comparing the case volume is quite common. Just check out the mini-ITX cases hysteria.
Even though some people here aren't familiar with SI units, it does give a picture of the difference in size

The case is too empty. Where are the designs? Mine as well just buy an aluminum box and call it "Da Box". The PSU being on the front removes any ideas for drivebay accessories as well as modding. The SG02 maybe longer, but it is atleast easier on the eyes.
