Noob WC setup.

Hello all! I have enjoyed and learned alot from reading the posts here.

I am about to build my first wc system and wanted to run it by the pros.

Here is what I am looking at:
- Haf 932(have the case its painted not sure its the one )
- i7920
- Evga Classified
- 6 gig Corsair Domintor 2000
- ultra X4 1200 watt power supply
- 2 x xfx 5870s
- 2 x swiftech 355s
- Feser X-Changer 360
- XSPC RX240
- XSPC Dual 5.25" Bay Reservoir for Dual Laing DDC
- tygon 3/8id 1/2od
- Enzotech LUNA Rev.A cpu wb
- 2 x EK FC-5870 Radeon HD 5870 ATI Reference PCB Design - Nickel wb
- EK-FB EVGA X58 LE Full Board Northbridge/Southbridge wb
- 1ST PC CORP. FC-FC2-B Lamptron fan controller

Loop 1
-Feser X-Changer 360
-swiftech 355
-CPU waterblock
-NB/SB waterblock

Loop 2
- XSPC RX240
- swiftech 355
- 2 x gpu waterblocks

Any input would be greatly appreicated.

Does anyone know how the XSPC Dual 5.25" Bay Reservoir performs. The pumps connect directly to the resivoir which what i like for layout.

I was wanting to run the COOLER MASTER R4 2000 rpm fans. Push/Pull on both rads.

The big change I would make is get a Swiftech XT block. Great performing block and has a great mounting mechinasm.

Next choice would be a HK3.0 CU or LT.

Check out Primochill PRO LRT, great tubing and comes in colors.

What coolant are you using?

You seem to have done your reading though. Nice list, and

I actually orderd the Primochill PRO LRT today.

I was going to use distilled water with the primochill add in coloring.

I found a review somewhere that showed the luna.a with good reviews. Ill look into the cpu wb some more. Thanks

Don't add in any dye. If you want color in the res, use LEDs. Dye likes to stain things and deposit itself where it shouldn't.

add in some silver like this.

Good luck to ya.

I had not done enough research yet on coolant. Thanks for the input on the dye and silver.

I took a look at your build. Has a clean professional look. I may have to go with black tubing Very nice.

Those fittings had to cost $$$ where did you get them?

I'd run the CPU and NB on the 240 rad and the dual 5870s on the 360 rad. Those 5870s get pretty damned toasty when OCed.

Those are BP Compression fittings. You can find them here

The new black ones are also really cool.

CPUs are more sensitive to temps than GPUs are, so it makes sense to give them the larger rad. Watercooling GPUs will drop there temps alot anyways, so they should be just fine on the 240.

Thanks for the fittings link.

Im trying to decide betwen the
- 45 Degree Rotary
- 45 Degree Adapter
Can you get the adapters in securly and get them at the angle you need. It seems you could end up with leaks trying to get it to the angle you need becuse the adapter would not be as tight as you need.
Any comments on this would be very helpfull.

Ive read alot of threads in here and seen comments on both radiator sugestions. I understand that the evga classified nb gets very hot and cpu temps are more sensitive. To be honest I have been worried about gpus only getting a 240. I think ill go initially as listed. I could add a single rad in the case or add another 360 on the back if needed.

I havent researched temps i should hope to see yet.
Does anyone know what a good 5870 wc temp would be?
