FrozenQ Res Owners...

Are you guys noticing faster then 'normal' reduction in your reservoir levels? Faster then MCRES or EK RES or any other res'

I've just looked around frantically and haven't found any evidence of a leak, but my res level dropped by a whole inch since I last checked about 2 weeks ago.. I'm thinking the heat from the CCFL inside is causing the evaporation but... I'd like to confirm that with others

All the bubbles are gone so its not that....

Maybe you have a slow leak somewhere that is evaporating before it drips or puddles. As for CCFL heat im guessing its nothing compared to what you're cpu/gpu block dumps into the loop.

When did you set yours up? That res in the start keeps alot of bubbles attached to the helix that slowly empty out over time.

Some coolant diffuses through the tube, there was and is some dissolved air in your coolant, there might have been small bubbles of air in your rad...

Its been setup for about 3 weeks now.. there was indeed a lot of bubbles around the helix but those have worked themselves out by now. Could be that there were more bubbles underneath the top cap (since I can't see the part of the res) but the water drop that occured was a lot more then just mere bubbles at the top.

I've had issues with some leaks before but that was all due to overstretching the tubing. I've since added a longer cut of tubing and added a 90 in one place to resolve the two places I've had a leak before and haven't noticed one for 2 weeks (took about a day before to notice the leak) .. it could be that this one is even slower and is evaporating before I can find the spot but I have no idea how to catch it then
