WC advice for a skulltrail system

Hi All,

So this is one of my first posts on these forums and i was looking for some advice. Im looking to WC one of my skulltrail systems and wanted to ask a few questions.

Basically i was thinking of having 2 loops with CPU GFX and chipset on each.

I was going to go with:
2x EK Supreme blocks
2x XSPC X2O 750 bay res
2x eVGA Black Pearl 8800 Ultra
1x DD X38 Chipset block
1x Blastflow SB block
and not sure bout the rads, i have a TJ07 so was thinking 1x 320 and maybe 2x 240.

So basically i wanted to know what you guys thought of the bay res' and weather i should go for something like a DDC 18w pump instead.

Also weather I should WC the RAM as its FB-Dimms (ive got a dominator cooler on there atm and it seems ok).

And weather 3/8" piping is better than 1/2", Ive used both in setups before and 3/8" was easier to work and someone said about as the water doesnt spend much time in the pipes it didnt matter as much.

So yeah what do you guys think? im sure you all know the TJ07 so if anyone knows what rads i should use or anything then please let me know. Is there really much difference in rads of the same size?

another option is that i try to get a dual evap phase change for it and build it into a different case.

Thanks for your help.

Sam

here is your solution (all DD except MIPS ram freezer and Primochill Typhoon III resevoir/Pump unit and Ghost Compression fittings - designed by my buddy Geno)

Hi,

Yeah i saw the DD SB cooler but thought the Blastflow one looked more effective. what are the temps like running it all inline? does the second CPU run much hotter? what pump were you using?

Regards Sam

Hay,

thats cool yeah i was looking for other setups to compare, theres quite a nice one done by coolercases but it has the procs on one loop and i didnt know what this would be like on temps.

does anyone have any thoughts on pipe sizing? is 3/8" ok or should i go for half inch?

Regards Sam
