Not sure how I feel about this. We have the PA, MCR, RX, X-Changer, Extreme and SR-1 off the top of my head. Now we can add yet another rad that probably performs basically the same as those? Unless this particular rad adds something new or beats those listed, I'm not really excited about this.

From the sounds of it, Ultra low speed fans. It could well be a copy of either a PA or an RX radiator.

Yea, seems its coming in around the price of a XSPC rad. Seems Swiftech might still be holding on to the best bang-for-buck slot. Guess we need to see some testing.

While it's probably not revolutionary, I imagine it just helps set EK up as a "full-service" water-cooling company. Anything to help them so we keep gettting new FC GPU blocks and other blocks works for me.

It's always nice to see a new product from a great supplier like EK.

I do question the logic of creating a rad that competes with a ton of others though unless it does something spectacular.

Eddy did make mention of wanting to do packages similar to Swiftech's Apex kit.

This could be a step toward that.

Sounds like the only thing left for Eddy is to design some slim rad for kit like that!

Looking forward to more info, pictures and tests of these rads.

Compared to Thermochill, TFC, XSPC, etc the prices are friendly.

M3 threads for the fans and G1/4 connections are two things i'm missing on my TC rads.

I would like to see a new design, maybe a round one that fits those big fans on the sides of case, I don't know, just something different.

The market needs this, I mean water cooling seems like a unknown to most computer users who are not xtreme, 3 days ago, I took my MCP355 pump with the XSPC res and a tube to test it while I'm at work and believe me I work as network Admin and all the people around me are Supposed to be pros. and most of them didn't believe that a desktop PC can be cooled with water cooling.

With complete water cooling kit at an affordable price and that it is easy to install would at least be a step forward into making water cooling not so dark zone!

Agreed. I don't know for sure, but I'd guess Swiftech does ok selling the complete packages they have, I'm sure EK would do the same.

That won't happen till case manufacturers start making cases that are internal watercooling ready and not just drilling 2 holes in the case and calling it watercooling capable.

Also, there will always be the fears of water and electronics together that will keep people at bay.

Thermaltake "YUK" produced many cases with built in water cooling and that did not help at all.

What people need is a high quality closed system loop, just install it and forget it.

+1, the sheer amount of cases out there that call themselves "WC Capable" is unbelievable...and like you said, they all have two holes in the back, one in and one out. WTF makes them think that I want to mount my radiator in the back or for that matter mount it outside at all...or that I want to run like 4f of extra tubing to do reach-around-the-case.

My custom drilled Antec 900 still works well. Housing two sandwiched MCR320s with no problems in the front of the case

Well, that was due to weak watercooling gear.

Most cases now that call themselves watercooling capable really are not unless you don't mind mounting things outside the case. That was the point I was making.

LOL..

Alex said the exact same thing when the SR-1 came out.

I also miss the old PA rads.

But yeah, i think eddy wants a piece of the radiator market, like how swiftech has a big chunk in.

Problem tho is can he price beat a MCR320?
The only rads which people will buy now are either the best.. ie.. monster class rads, or something thats about the = value of a MCR320.

Hi,

Yeah, we have right now full hands with new projects and products.
The real pictures will be up next week.
I cant say we will be able to beat the monsters on the market, but these rads are definitely targeting to the top of the rads these sizes.
