I have 2 options atm.. 2 loops or a large single loop. i'll have 2 ddcs 2x 480 swifty rads, 2x gtx275 ek fc blocks, gtz, and koolance fc block for evga x58 sli with a mosfet block or enzotech's block if ever comes out..
all in a black pearl.. so inverted atx design. All internal. The 2 rads and 2 pumps will be in the bottom of the case.
should i go 2 loops or one single large loop... I don't want to use the typhoon 3 for aesthetic reasons..
You already have all the components for 2 loops so just do that. Wherever possible it is better to separate CPU and GPU to keep each running at it's respective healthy temp.
i agree with kibbler, run two loops, better for overall temps. the 2 gpu's and then the cpu and block, much better for you.

Do I have permission to piggy-back off this once all your questions are answered? I have almost the exact same components, except I have one additional GTX275...
on a single loop with 2 rads...you can use a on/off switch for a set of fans...in case you watch a movie...you don't need max cooling..switching off a set of fans ..and the 2nd pump will help reduce noise...
Anyone have any thoughts on the flow benefits/drawbacks to those? OP, I hope I don't make you throw out weeks of planning with that suggestion, as it may apply to you as well!
Go with 2 loops, have the cpu and board block on one, and the gpu's on the other.. since you already have all the stuff required you dont need to worry about it... so long as you have the space!

That's an idea I never thought of. I've always preferred two loops - as much for aesthetic reasons as anything, but there seem to be a lot of advantages with going with only one loop.
It's all good. If you the equipment why not try one way for a time and try it the other way for a time. See then what you like. It's like fans....People have a certain tolerance for noise to performance ratio. Loops are preference as well because everything can get cooled in one loop, 2 loops, 3 loops or more if you put some thought into it.
well i honestly don't feel like single loops will have *too* much impact on performance... i'm currently more concerned about aesthetics so with that said back to the drawings board to find a decent routing plan for all the tubing...
fyi i did see those manifolds.. but i might try something else instead.. might use the 5 way splitter/drain from koolance instead..
I was considering mounting two of them in the bottom of my RV-01. The one end would be the inlet, the three perpendicular holes would go to my three gtx275's, and the other end would go to the CPU/MB/MOSFET loop, and the reverse in the other manifold.
if you wanna take a look at those in action.. i believe the build to look for is white manifold............. at least that's wut i think the name was.. http://www.xtremesystems.org/forums/...white+manifold enjoy xD
