Tubing routing ideas needed

I had thought this would be really easy putting all together but I changed the HK 3.0 for the Swiftech XT in the last minute and didn't consider the position of the outlet on the Swiffy.

Pictures speak a thousand words:

Wish there was a fitting that could connect those 2 somehow

Yaiks, that doesn't look too good

Some random ideas, doesn't look too good

Fail, the compression fitting wont fit on the EK NB block

The reason there is no tubing attached is because I haven't received my CPU yet so the XT is just laying on the socket to illustrate the problem.

So if anyone has any good ideas, they'd be more than welcome!!??

In picture 2, is it possible to replace that tubing with a 45 degree fitting?

The problem would be to connect it in both ends. It would be female to female.

My latest idea would be to use some sort of a male male to fitting between the 90° in the first picture. Something like these:

Go back to your first setup and measure the distance between the fittings. Judging by that first pic, I'd say you'll most likely need the 1" model. Don't take my word for it because pics are a really bad way to judge scale and size.

Do you happen to know the sizes of the others as well? It doesn't say on the PPC page at least.

EDIT:

The distance between these two is 2,6 cm or and once inch is according to google, 2.54cm. Maybe that is close enough.

How about rotating the apogee XT 180 degrees on the cpu mount...that will increase the distance the the (NB block)?

If you did that you might have to use the "alternate configuration" of the XT to route your tubing to the inlet more easily

That would make the inlet above the outlet, which from what I've understood could build up bubbles in the block..?

Only if there is air in your system, and your pressure is low. Since the ApogeeXT is a highly restrictive block, you wont have to worry about cavitation like in an HK, and the pressure in the system should keep any of that in check...

Blocks are mounted with the inlet on top all the time...

..look at the BP Mosfet cooler for the x58 classified....its usually mounted with the inlet on top...granted mosfets are not a processor

I know it's done, but I'd prefer not to do it. Maybe it wouldn't matter at all..

I will definitively consider it, thank you.

You could use good old fashioned straight plastic barbs, and then use the larger loop of tubing like your second pic. That might not fit your system's aesthetic though.

I ordered a set of these today as Caoder suggested:

http://www.chilledpc.co.uk/shop/prod...oducts_id=1066

The D-Plug I needed I couldn't find in Europe except for in Highflow.nl, but they wanted 23€ to ship a 6,50€ part so no thx. I had stuff coming from Tom anyhow so was easy adding that. Hopefully it turns out well. Otherwise I will have to search for that 1inch D-Plug again.

That's really nice, but as I said, I refuse to pay 30€ for one D-Plug. It just is too much. Are those D-Plugs adjustable NaeKuh, as in length?
