AC Ryan fans
Hi, new here.
I've got a few AC Ryan blackfire 4 120mm fans in various led colours. I really like them, they look good and they all have 77.70cfm. My temps are low for cpu and gpu, and the ac ryan dropped my gpu temp considerably more than an enermax everest I had on it before. So anyway, I'm only posting this to ask what the general thoughts are on ac ryan, out of curiousity really. Did vapor ever test them and have a good or bad word to say on them?

No vapor doesn't test uv led fans. they aren't bad in general for cooling but they aren't silent/quiet either. Start ordering some replacement LEDs cause they burn out after a while

AC Ryan leds specifically burn out, or all led fans? Tbh, people always say fans are noisy yet I don't find this, even with all fans on full blast.

yeah most led fans but ac ryan did try updating the fans a little. bigger hub and better leds but once you replace them with good quality uv leds like i have did for most of them, they last and they are great fans. i just find them noisy but noise is a personal.

I like AC Ryan even though I never have experience with the 120mm versions. I got 2x92mm blue LED one and they work great for me, as for the noise if you concern about it that much then just get a fan controller.

A.C. Ryan is OK
I don't think AC Ryans' are the quietest, nor the loudest...and I've had no problems with the led's burning-out...my pc runs everyday, almost all day long, for over a year (& with fan controller)

Nice picture!
I was thinking of swapping my sharkoon on my TRUE for one of my ac ryans. The sharkoon is 76cfm, so nothing in it really, but might be nice to have the LED on it. I also have a blue/green ac ryan on my HR 03 GT now, but was the enermax before that

To Danny54-
Nice VGA Cooler! How's your 4870 run with the HR-03?

Thanks! Absolutely brilliantly. And the cpu cooler seems to contribute indirectly to the vga cooling I've found. Using furmark stability test, with stock coolers on cpu and gpu, I was getting 53c idle and 85c load. Currently, with the HR 03 GT and some MX-2 TIM, I'm getting 32c idle and 45c load, sometimes 43c load when it's really cold in here.
Before the HR 03 GT, I bought the akasa neo vortexx, but it wouldn't fit, even after I sawed off some of it, the black oblong heatsink at front of card was blocking it from seating. Mine is a non reference 4870. The only one that fits is the thermalright. And to be honest, I somehow doubt I would have gotten as good temps with the akasa.
