What should i use my peltier for?

So i have posted a few threads asking about methods for my 177watt qmax peltier, and you guys have ruled out using it on my cpu, graphics card, and also as a pc case cooler(even though i have seen factory built tec coolers that where only 40watts for pc cases). so could you guys just throw some ideas at me for what i should use my peltier for besides a fridge or drink cooler?

I was wondering, i have always wanted to build a old gaming system that could run windows 98 for all of my old games, and i have a 933mhz pentium 3 with 256k cache and a 733mhz pentium 3 with 512k cache, so if turned the power down a little bit to this peltier would this kind of setup work?? with that 145 watt heatsink i have if i put a much higher flow fan on it?? i'm just bored and i was going to built that system stock anyways so why not peltier cool it, right?

^ While I'm sure you could do it, I would like to toss in that you can accomplish the same objective (a Win 98 system to play DOS-based games on) via VMWare and save yourself the time/space/power of running a second box for it.

No idea what you can do with a pelt of that wattage otherwise, sorry.

Yep VMWARE would be a good route if you had the money, it is a seriously good bit of kit and in my view cheap for what it does.

But as I am sure you may be finally realizing now your TEC isn't much use on it's own.

All depends how much work you're willing to put in. You could definitely throw it on a north bridge, or build a block(s) to cool either your ram or your videocard ram with it. Also works as a load testing device should you ever need one.
