Xigmatek issue...

Issue: Got the fan (XIGMATEK|HDT-S1283 R) and it seems it's juuuuuust too tall for the case. I mean, we're talking just a tiny bit here, so small I'm not even sure....

Solution/Question 1: Would the fan/cpu/mobo survive a bit of pressure from closing the case door and it touches the top of the fan?

Solution/Question 2: Could I file down the height of the pipes without screwing up the fan?

Solution/Question3: Anyone wanna trade me for a similar fan that's not as tall (preferably in NYC)?

Any ideas?.....
