Which one to get guys . I already have 80mm fans so if I get the Accelero, I'm going to tie the fan onto it with some zip-ties. But I'm wondering which one performs better on my HD4870 ? (My HD4870 is a non-reference design with standard VRMs - HIS HD4870 Fan 1GB, the stock HSF really a piece of , 96°C with FurMark, 90°C with Crysis)

I have an HIS 4870 1Gb that runs very cool (<50C) even in crossfire with stock cooler not the fan model though. Just set the fan speed to 60% in CCC.

-This is the image of my HD4870, it uses 2 wire fan so there isn't any speed control available. Thus it does speed up to 100% in full load but the temps are over 90°C, I've found out that many people have had serious problem with this fan on NewEgg, that's why I need an advice on a new HSF .

-And speaking of HIS, in that image they have memory sinks, but mine have nothing on the these chips, this is the last time I buy HIS products. Sapphire and PowerColor always the best (Asus and Gigabyte's is somewhat overpriced in my country).

I had good luck with a Zalman copper cooler/fan on another card. Don't know if they make 1 for a 4870.

It came with a speed controller.

If you can affort it, my HR-03+ and a 800 RPM Coolermaster fan kept my temps under 50C while staying completely silent.
