Mosfet Cooling for the P5Q Premium

I've got my eye on the HR-09 (type 2) from Thermalright, but the P5Q Premium isn't even on their compatibility list. The P5Q Deluxe is, however, and I think it has the same stock coolers as the P5Q Premium.

Is anyone using HR-09s on a P5Q Premium?

Didn't used it yet, but clearance and mounting holes are the same on both. Hence, I think they will fit, but why don't you ask Thermalright support to make sure of that .

Hey Skak, how's it going? rAt.8^].bAg from BU forums here. I remember us discussing some of your upgrades there a few times.

I have a new P5E WS Pro sitting here not being used, and though not specifically listed by ThermalRight either, just eyeballing it it looks to me that those sinks would fit it. The HR-09 Type 2 would fit all of the other P5E's and P5Q's, so I'd assume your Premium as well.

It's a b!tch trying to find the HR-09 Type 2 here in NZ. Most sellers have it listed as simply "HR-09" which isn't very helpful. When I ask them they usually don't know, but the one shop that was kind enough to measure their HR-09 for me said that it matched the specification of the HR-09 Type 1, so I gess the rest are probably the same. This is getting to be a real PITA, as is finding a suitable CPU cooler for this HTPC - most of the smaller Thermalright coolers seem discontinued.

You guys in Kiwi-land got it rough. I guess they don't import everything of a company's products there, but only what they think will sell fast?

How about other makes like Swiftech, Zalman, Noctua, EnzoTech, etc?

Less offerings from those brands available than Thermalright.
