Phase Change Cooling Questions

Greetings everyone,

first of all I want to introduce myself.
I am Miguel, 21years old. And in my final year.
As a part of my final year i need to make a paper about cooling workstations. With air, water, peltier, dry ice, LN2 and ofcours Phase Change
Now you are wondering why am I here and whats the big deal with my paper.

Wel i could use some help. I am not at home with Phase Change. I have never used one (well not yet ).
And I am looking for more information about this.
Like a diagram of a Single Stage? The working of Phase Change? Also when do you have Single Stage ore Cascade?
And is it easy to use this 24/7?

I am using google ofcours, and looking around. Reading everything about this. But I would like to read stuf from people who are used to working with Phase Change.

Ofcours Xstremesystems wil be noted in my paper ^^

Thanks everyone in advance

Answers all over the internet

Whenever you want. A single stage generally gets you -40C at todays load. More stages, the colder you can go.

At what level do you ask this question? Phase change implementations for server equipment is a different league than the home enthusiast with a computer spread all over a bench.

ok cascades are a dual stage system where u use the first stage to condense the gas in the second stage through a plate heat exchanger and there is lots of cascade threads u could look through just search for cascade or 2,3 stagers or just look at the 5 stager thread thats on the go right now as well in the next week i will be starting another cascade for my team leader so i will be making a thread on it
