TRUE, Prolimatech Megalems, Corsair H50 are all available with socket 1156 mounting kits.
Using a Coolermaster Hyper 212+ myself, its very cheap and you get about 90% of the performance of the above mentioned products at roughly 30-40% of their price. (22euros for me, vs 65/70 euros for the others) I can run my i7 860 at 3.8ghz with around 70 degrees celcius with full prime load. The 750 should be around 10 degrees cooler if i read the other reviews correctly.

My CoolerMaster Hyper 212 Plus keeps my i7-860 4.10GHz ~1.4v (CPU-Z) HT off at 68~71C in LinX at 1700rpm with the included fan or 4.0GHz with HT on @ 73~76C. Granted not using a comp case and AC MX-3 thermal paste.
For the price I'm very satisfied but damn I wish I would get some nice CPU samples for once so I don't have to push them to the very limits for aircooling to reach some satisfying clocks. Good samples would allow 4.25~4.3GHz at 1.4v. :s

EKL Brocken is a gift from God. Doesn't need so high airflow. Idk where u guys live, and is it available there. But in Europe it is. Costs around 30-33euros.
6mm heatpipes against 8mm... last one is only 1.33x bigger (6mm vs. 8mm) - But, when we compare the capacity, it's something to mention about;
6mm thick x 155mm lenght
vs.
8mm thick x 155mm lenght
I think I count right, the 8mm pipe is ~1.78x BIGGER in the capacity than 6mm !! This is mostly the reason why 4x6mm basic air-coolers cost so much less than 8mm. :P I mean, in theory 4x8mm heatpipe cooler is ~1.78x better than 4x6mm =D
In other words, you need 7x4mm heatpipes in your cooler that it could transfer as much heat as 4x8mm.

Corsair H50 with better fans would be definitely better. TRUE's i5 mounting does seem to have an issue. Prolimatech Megashadow / Megahalem Rev B are awesome. Noctua has some new Heatsinks too. NH-D14 as well as the popular U12P SE2 are great for i5.
