Cost for powder coating?

Just a quick question.. on avg how much was powder coating for a full size tower ( i have the black pearl) i got an estimate of 180 so i was just wondering how that stacks up with everyone else's rates.... Black color.

I get about $100 for a full tower if I do all the teardown/reassembly, but I wouldn't really say your price is unfair, probably on the high end.

It also depends on the powder used

I got qoutes for about $40-$60 dollars for powdercoating only, no teardown. That was also for standard black color.

I have a local place that does very professional work and their minimum order is $125. They can do about 3 cases for that much too. If you're interested in the shop see if they will give you a tour on their process, if they won't I'd be weary.

I always think it's better to pay a bit extra to get it right than to gamble, especially if you had any custom parts that need coating.
