Evap for Pentium IV

Which design would perform best on a P4?

The system (single stage, cap tube) will do -52°C, no load.

More central mass the better.

Evap

So this would be better?

Is 1/16" thick enough for the base?

I think one side will pull refrigerant across while the other is dry.

avoid having any holes chambers over the core if pos find ways to cool a central mass/colum of copper over the core

this is where maze evaps fail imo as most feel they should exit or enter the evap at this point

not completely, you want to find a balance of mass in the right places with surface area in the right places.

What you should be worrying about more then the design is the base thickness....

Back to the chicken an egg thing

IMO: Balance of mass in the right places with surface area in the right places.

Base thickness more important than design.
